LISTENING TO A TAPE
1. Open the cassee door manually. Load a cassee tape with the open edge facing upward
and gently close the cassee door.
2. Select your playback output.
• SPEAKER: Slide ON/OFF SPEAKER switch to ON posion and adjust the VOLUME knob to
adjust the sound level.
• HEADPHONE: Slide ON/OFF SPEAKER switch to OFF posion. Turn VOLUME knob to lowest
posion. Then plug in your headphone. Re-adjust the VOLUME knob to a comfortable sound
level without any distoron. Once you’ve set your sound level, please leave the volume
alone.
NOTE: Since hearing dama
ge from loud noise is usually undetectable unl it is too late,
be sure the volume level is not too high.
3. Press the PLAY (
) buon. When the unit is ON. the BATT indicator will light up. At the end
of the cassee tape, the unit will stop automacally.
4. Press the F.FWD buon to advance the tape. When it approaches to the end of tape, the
unit will stop automacally.
5. Press STOP buon to stop the tape playback or it will stop automacally when it approaches
the end of tape playback.
RECORD TO PC
Audio from TAPE can be recorded on the computer.
To record from cassee tape, load a cassee tape into the unit and press PLAY buon to start
playback.

The provided CD disc contains the following soware:

The soware is compable with Window 98, 2000, ME, XP, VISTA, 7 and Macintosh.
NOTE: The Audacity does not support the latest upgraded MAC OS9.
AUDACITY INSTALLATION AND USB CONNECTION
Connect one end of the USB cable to the mini USB socket on the unit. Connect the other end into
the USB socket on your computer.
Note: To help ensure that
the Audacity soware and your computer recognize the USB
connecon, always connect your unit’s USB port to your computer’s USB port before you
open the Audacity.
Also, the volume control on the unit does not affect the recording sound input.
