What to do if …
If you are unable to remedy the fault with the
above assistance, please contact your specialist
dealer or AEG Service Force Centre.
1 Warning: Repairs to the appliance may only
be carried out by approved service engineers!
Repairs carried out by inexperienced persons
may cause serious injury to the user.
If the appliance has been used improperly, the cus-
tomer service engineer’s visit or that of the specialist
dealer will not be free of charge, even during the war-
ranty period.
3 Advice on cookers with metal
fronts:
Because of the cold surface at the front of the
cooker, opening the oven door during (or just
after) baking or roasting may cause the glass
to steam up.
Symptom Possible cause Remedy
The oven does not heat up. The oven has not been switched
on.
Switch on the oven.
The time has not been set. Set the time.
The necessary settings have not
been made.
Check the settings.
The circuit breaker (at the house-
hold fuse box) has tripped or the
fuse has blown.
Check the circuit breaker or fuse.
If the circuit breaker trips or the
fuse blows several times, please
contact an approved electrician.
The oven lighting does not come
on.
The oven light bulb is
faulty.
Change the oven light bulb.
