Sewing Overlock Stitches on Extra
Heavyweight Fabrics
Lock the movable cutting blade to provide
maximum cutting strength.
1. Hand turn the flywheel to lower the needle
bar to its lowest position.
2. Open the side cover.
3. Use the allen screwdriver to turn the
screw clockwise until the movable cutting
blade cannot be disengaged.
4. Close the side cover. Sew.
NOTE: After sewing extra heavyweight fabric,
always turn the screw counterclockwise to
unlock movable cutting blade for normal
operation.
NOTE: Cutting width cannot be adjusted
when movable blade is locked.
