Cleaning the Feed Dog
Unplug the machine. Remove the needle and
presser foot. Remove the needle plate set screws
and the needle plate.
With a brush, clean out dust and lint clogging the
feed dog teeth.
Attach the needle plate. Replace needle and presser
foot.
Oiling
Unplug the machine. Remove screw cap, screw and
face plate.
Apply a few drops of sewing machine oil to the
points indicated by arrows in illustrations.
Machine should be oiled two or three times a year or
more depending on frequency of use.
Changing the Light Bulb
The sewing light is located behind the face plate.
Unplug the machine.
Remove screw cap, screw and face plate.
To remove: push and twist to left.
To replace: push and twist to right.
