8.3.2. Lifting the dryer
During the moving of the machine, when it is not in use, it is worthwhile lifting the
squeegee, for two reasons:
1. Reduces drag on the floor and also force required by the operator to move the
machine,
2. also reduces wear of the silicone rubber on the squeegee.
To lift the squeegee use the opposite lever situated on the right handle of the handlebars of
the machine.
Completely lift the squeegee whilst moving the empty machine, and bring it back to the
floor when in use. The lever stays in a fixed position once pulled: it is sufficient to pull the
small red lever to undo ( disengage) the lever so the squeegee can rest back on the floor.
