4 Device configuration via Web interface. User access
To configure the device, it is necessary to connect to it through Web browser (program for viewing hypertext
documents), for example, Firefox, Google Chrome and etc. You should enter the device IP address in the
browser address line (default IP address – 192.168.1.1, default subnet mask – 255.255.255.0).
After entering IP address, the device requests username and password.
Username: user, password: user.
In order to prevent unauthorised access to the device, the password is recommended to be changed (see
Section "Passwords") . Access control configuration (setting passwords).
Given below is a general view of the device configuration window. A navigation tree for object settings is in the
left pane, while the settings editor is to the right.
