2.4 Intended use
The ELEMENTRAC CS-d has been developed for the analysis of carbon and sulphur in various
materials. The induction furnace permits the analysis of typically inorganic materials such as
metals, alloys, ceramics and cement. The resistance furnace has been designed for the
analysis of carbon and sulphur in organic materials such as coal, coke, alternative fuels or soil.
2.5 Improper use
Use is prohibited in the private domain and for purposes other than those set out in the
“Intended use” chapter. Repairs and modifications may only be carried out by Eltra GmbH, by
an authorized agency, or by qualified service technicians.
