5 Maintenance
5.1 Keeping maintenance records
Record all maintenance operations performed on a detector in accordance with site
guidance and requirements.
5.2 Clean the detector
Procedure
1. Disconnect power from the flame detector.
2. Wipe the detector housing with clean water and a damp cloth.
NOTICE
Do not use a brush or sharp tools.
3. Identify where dust, dirt, or moisture accumulates on the detector window.
a) Clean with a soft optical cloth.
b) Rinse with clean water.
