The ERTune™ Program: Basic Features
The Profile Panel
The top panel of the Prole Tab shows the currently loaded Prole.
NOTENOTE
CAUTIONCAUTION
WARNINGWARNING
If no Prole has been built for the ER5000, the default Prole
will show a single END command in the Prole window. Every Prole must
include the END command as its nal segment.
CAUTION
A Profile will not run the ER5000 until it has been downloaded to
the controller’s control board. Unlike most fields and controls in the
ERTune™ program, the Profile Builder does not have real-time control
over the ER5000.
A Profile must be downloaded or saved when it is complete!
Otherwise it will be deleted when you exit the ERTune™ program.
Profiles are only stored in your computer’s short term memory until
they are downloaded or saved.
The Profile Window
The Prole Window shows the command lines of the currently
loaded Prole. Selecting a command in the window opens it for
editing in the Prole Builder. Scroll bars appear when the line
count goes beyond the frame of the window.
There are also ve buttons in the panel:
Print
Prints the contents of the Prole Window.
Upload
Loads the Prole from the control board of the ER5000 into the
Prole Window.
Download

board of the ER5000.

Opens a previously saved Prole. Proles are saved in a text
format with the .sav le extension.
Save
Saves the contents of the Prole Window to a text le. Proles are
saved to the PC with the .sav le extension.
