7.5 Turning off your power generator
Proceed as follows to switch off your generator:
Conditions the attached power consuming equipment is disconnected or switched off.
CAUTION!
Certain surfaces on the device can get very hot whilst it is running.
Risk of burns
Never touch any engine parts (in particular the exhaust system) for a few min-
utes after ceasing operation.
Always leave hot engine parts to cool down before touching them.
Switching the gen-
erator off
1. Continue to run the engine without load for about two minutes.
2. Turn the ECOtronic switch off.
3. Put the multi-switch Fig. 7-1 - into the “STOP" position.
The engine comes to a standstill and the generator is switched off.
4. Turn the air-release valve on the tank cover Fig. 7-1 - back into theOFF“
position.
The generator is switched off and secured.
DANGER!
Explosion hazard due to escaping fuel or fuel vapours.
A risk of suffering severe even deadly burns.
After stopping the generator, close the fuel valve (fuel feed) as soon as pos-
sible.
Close the fuel valve (fuel feed) at the latest after ceasing to use the device.
BEFORE transport.
