Use a sleeve with a narrow bore to ensure good electrical contact between the sleeve and
the probe rod.

Welding can damage the main electronics module.

Before welding: Ground the probe rod and remove the electronics.
Securing coax probes
For WHG approval: a support is required for probe lengths ≥ 3 m (10 ft).
