5.4 Setting the Damper Positions
 Toensureequaldrafttoallreplaces,eachdampermustbeindividuallypresettoanOPENposition. 
 Becausethereplacesthatareclosertothefanseemoreairowthanthosefartheraway,the  
 closerreplacesdonotneedtobeopentothefull90°tomaintainthepressuresetpointintheconnector.
 However,duringoperation,youshouldassumethatthedampersfarthestfromthereplace  
will be fully open to 90°.
To set the damper positions:
   1. Beginwiththereplaceclosesttothefan.
2. All dampers should be closed except for the one being set.
3. Set the damper to 45
o
. To test the appropriate damper position:
     a. Placeasmokematchorapieceofthinpaperabovethereplaceopening.
     b. Ifthereplaceispullingtoomuch,closeoffthedamperandretest.
     c. Ifthereplaceisspilling,adjustthedamperto>45°andretest.
     d. Repeatuntiltheproperowismaintained.
   4. Workingfromthetopoortothebottomoor,repeattheaboveprocedureforallreplaces.
