The information in this section makes sure the expander pins are properly installed and
that the system is detachable in connection with service or joint bearing changes.

Check tightening torque during scheduled maintenance Set the recommended torque
according to Table 1. and Table 2. . Apply torque to the torque wrench until the set the
value is achieved.
Retightening
Retightening the expander pins is crucial for successful installation.
Grease the joint between the expander pin and the attachment. We recommend grease
with 3-5% molybdenum sulphide to minimize shaft wear and increase the load-bearing
capacity of the hinge.
