company policy, the operator
must wear the appropriate
equipment before servicing an
H2S analyzer
As an overall practice when doing
maintenance into an H2S
analyzer, the operator should
carry a personal H2S monitor,
wear a hard hat, hearing
protection (if applicable), safety
glasses, hand protection, steel
toed boots. Depending on the
location of the H2S analyzer,
appropriate breathing device
might be required such as SCBA
