3 Error lists / Troubleshooting
Error 3
no rotor
No rotor pulses during run or
acceleration.
Missing rotor, measuring system for
rotational speed defective, drive
defective.
– Rotor not fastened.
– No pulses after start. Device brakes
for 10 sec.
– Pulse failure during run. Free deceler-
ation requires 8 min!
Error remains active after a power
supply interruption.
– Software version 3.3 to 3.7
when using brake level "0" or "1".
–Fasten rotor.
Keep device switched on and start
again after > 12 min.
– Service program 8.
– Check the state of the rotational
speed sensor and its connections,
replace if necessary.
– Service program 9
Check converter, replace if necessary.
Check motor, replace if necessary.
– Replace "Control" PCB,
check connector X10 on PCB "Con-
trol".
– Install software version as of 3.8.
Error 4 Sensor for lid locking mechanism (Hall
sensor, position recognition) defective.
– During run – device brakes.
– At standstill with the lid closed, start is
not possible.
– Service program 4.
– The voltage on the sensor should be
approx. 2.5 V ±0.2 V without the
influence of a magnetic field
("Control 58XX" PCB).
– Check the sensor position.
Error 5 No report from lid during run.
– Changed measuring value of
Hall sensor.
Device brakes, even when the lid is open.
– Service program 4.
– Check the fastening and the
adjustment of the microswitches.
– Carry out a continuity check of the
microswitches while they are closed.
– Check the state of the magnets on the
junction plate.
