LIFT LID
W-Error 31
The locking mechanism for the lid is in an
undefined position.
Lid is released and does not lift up
automatically.
– Actuate the ‘OPEN’ button.
– Open lid manually via emergency
release using the rotor key.
– Bring lid mechanism into different
position via emergency release using
the rotor key.
– Lid mat/reinforcement may be
warped. Align manually, or replace if
required.
– Smooth locking eye of lid mat/
reinforcement using fine sandpaper.
– Sealing of rotor chamber may have
become rigid. Replace if required.
– The gas spring is too sluggish.
Grease with "Esso S420", or replace
if required.
– Grease lid mechanism (i.e. with
"Molykote") in the area of the Y-slider
and the two Pertinax plates (there
might be a roughness).
– Replace motor of lid latch.
– Replace Control PCB (too little
power).
– Magnets on Y-slider fell off.
Replace Y-slider.

Command to close the lid.
Close lid again firmly.
