4 Disassembly / Assembly
5810/5810 R Replacing PCB Frequency converter
Pre-condition: Remove lid, front cover and upper part of housing.
– Remove 4 Phillips screws from cover plate of PCB Frequency converter.
– Disconnect cable connections of PCB Frequency converter.
– Remove 4 Phillips screws from aluminum base plate (deep in bores).
– Replace complete unit.
Mount complete unit in reverse order.
Clean the plane for mounting the unit and apply thin coat of heat sink compound on com-
plete surface using a spatula.
(Not required for new FC with extended temperature range.)
– Start device.
5804/5804 R and 5810/5810 R Replacing motor of lid latch.
Pre-condition: Remove front cover.
– Place device on its side.
– Remove 3 Phillips screws from holding plate for motor of lid latch.
– Remove Seeger-ring.
– Remove cable plug.
– Replace complete unit.
Mount motor of lid latch in reverse order.
– Start device.
