Problems and Solutions
Most problems you encounter while operating your scanner and
software have simple solutions. This section helps you identify
the cause of the problem and provides you with solutions. It is
divided into the following categories:

“Software setup problems” on page 5-19
Read the appropriate section to find your problem; then follow
the recommended steps.

Error indicators
When an error occurs, the scanner stops operating and the
ERROR and READY lights indicate the error type as described
below.
