Initialization Methods
The scanner can be initialized (returned to a fixed set of
conditions) in the following ways:
SCSI
Interface type: For use with the optional Automatic
Document Feeder (B813163) and
Transparency Unit (B813183) only.
Electrical specifications:
Output voltage DC 21.6 to 26.4V
DC 4.75 to 5.25V
Output current 0.6A (24 V)
0.3A (5 V)
Hardware
initialization
The scanner is turned on.
The scanner receives a SCSI Reset signal from the SCSI
interface.
Software
initialization
Software sends the ESC @ (initialize the scanner)
command.
The scanner receives a SCSI Bus Device Message.
