2. Pull forward on the jam-release lever and slowly pull the
jammed paper out of the feeder mechanism. (Be careful not
to pull too hard; the paper may tear, making it more difficult
to remove.)
3. Close the document feeder cover and make sure the READY
light is on and not flashing, and the ERROR light is off.
The scanner does not scan in Windows 98 after changing
the SCSI ID number or the SCSI board.
Depending on your Windows 98 version, you may have to
uninstall the scanner from your system before changing the SCSI
ID number or replacing the SCSI board. For instructions, see
