Installing or replacing the ribbon cartridge
Before installing the ribbon cartridge, make sure that the printer
is not plugged into an electrical outlet.
Follow these steps to install or replace the ribbon cartridge:
1. Make sure the printer is turned off.
2. Open the printer cover to the upright position, then pull it up
to remove it.
3. Make sure the print head is in the middle of the printer.
If it is not, turn on the printer. Then, turn off the printer.
