Removing the Scanner Cover
If youre scanning something that doesnt fit
under the scanner cover, you can remove it. To
do this, simply open the scanner cover all the
way, and lift it straight up.
When scanning with the cover removed, make
sure you cover any exposed areas of the
document table glass to prevent interference
from external light.
Reattaching the Scanner Cover
When reattaching the document cover, be sure
to hold the cover upright, so the pivot grooves
are aligned vertically with the hinge notches on
the scanner. Then ease the cover into the
notches.
