menu items are based on Windows 7 and Mac OS X 10.8.x.

To congure the system administration features, the printer must be connected to a network. For more information on
connecting the printer to a network, see the printer's documentation or the appendix in this manual.

SSL/TLS Communication
You can set a server certicate for the printer and encrypt communications between the printer and a computer by
an SSL/TLS (Secure Sockets Layer/Transport Layer Security) communication. Use this feature to avoid spoong
and unauthorized access to the printer.
