4. Basic Operation
Some Key Functions
Send
Used to make a call after a phone number has
been entered.
ON/OFF
To switch the phone on or off, press and hold
down the key until you here a click.
To switch the phone off if a call is in progress,
first terminate the call by pressing and releasing
the key. Wait a few seconds, and then press
and hold down the key until you hear a click.
End
Used to terminate a call.
Left Arrow
Used during a call to decrease the volume.
Clear
Used to erase digits from the bottom line of the
display.
If held down, it erases all digits.
If held down during a call, it disconnects the mi-
crophone (Mute function).
Right Arrow
Used during a call to increase the volume.
Used to insert a ‘‘+’’ character before a number
when you wish to make an international call.
Numeric keys
Used to enter the digits 0 -- 9.
Star and Hash
Used to enter the characters
*
and #.
