10 Data Communication Problems
Make a visual check of the system connector. Replace it if needed.
Measure the resistance over R634 (220 ohms).
If the resistance is incorrect, replace R634.
Measure the resistance over R625 (220 ohms).
If the resistance is incorrect, replace R625.
Measure the resistance over R626 (10 kohms).
If the resistance is incorrect, replace R626.
Measure the resistance over C657 (>3 Mohms).
If the resistance is incorrect, replace C657.
Measure the resistance over R636 (470 ohms).
If the resistance is incorrect, replace R636.
Measure the resistance over R622 (470 ohms).
If the resistance is incorrect, replace R622.
Measure the resistance over R650 (100 kohms).
If the resistance is incorrect, replace R650.
Measure the resistance over C656 (100 kohms).
If the resistance is incorrect, replace C656.
If the fault remains, send the unit on according to the local company directives.

If the customer has complained about the characters in the Phone Book, make a reset of the
phone.
