Checking the heat exchanger tubes
Check the heat exchanger tubes and the turbulators
for "tar deposits" (shiny soot).

If there are tar deposits in the heat exchanger
tubes, contact customer service immediately. Tar
deposits can have several causes, for example:
• Leak air through the heat exchanger cover or the
lambda probe
• insufficient boiler runtime (start-stop operation)
• too little heat consumption due to incorrect control
system settings
• Usage for an individual room temperature con-
trol but without buffer storage tank in heating
system
