6•1 PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION
• The pre-delivery inspection of your mower is a highly technical
operation and will therefore be carried out by your approved dealer.
6•2 SAFETY SYSTEMS
The mower is equipped with a safety frame (picture 4) and a seat belt
(a picture 4).
For your security, only use your mower with the frame in the locked
raised position. You can fold it down with the push button (b picture
4), after removing the safety pin (2 picture 4) then pivoting the frame
on its axis (picture 5).
Always fasten the seat belt when the ROPS is in the posi-
tion of use.
Never fasten the seat belt when the ROPS is not in the
position of use.
Lower and raise the ROPS frame cautiously so as not to
pinch your fingers between the fixed and moving parts.

• The mower is fitted with 7 safety switches which are activated by :
1. the pedals control rod
2. retractable side parts
3. right ram of the channel flap
4. front / rear side of grassbox
5. the right height emptying ram
6. the parking brake
7. the seat
• The engine will start only if :
- the driver is seated or the parking brake is engaged
- the control pedals are in the neutral position
- the cutter is not switched on
- the hydraulic power lift is switched off.
• The engine stops if :
- the operator gets out of the seat without engaging the parking
brake
- the operator gets out of the seat with the cutting system or the
power take-off engaged
- the operator activates a forward drive control pedal with the par-
king brake engaged or if one of the two retractable parts of the
cutting deck is incorrectly mounted or absent.
• Cutting stops if :
- the operator gets out of the seat
- when the grass container is being emptied.
- 1 or 2 retractable parts of the cutting deck have moved from their
original position.
• The cutter can only be activated if :
- the driver is seated
- the grassbox is correctly closed
- the grassbox is in working position
- the retractable side parts are mounted on the cutting system.
WARNING !
The grassbox opening has for consequence the stop of the
cutting unit and the start of the revolving light. The cutter
unit will automatically start when the grassbox come back
in working position.
WARNING !
Hold the grassbox closing action so long that the rear
funnel flap is back in working position indicated by the
stop of the revolving light.
• The machine will only move if :
- the driver is on the seat
- the parking brake is disengaged
- the retractable side parts are mounted on the cutting device.
• The high lifting can only work if :
- the channel flap is in emptying position (vertically).
NOTE: By acting the high lifting switch, the flap goes priory in
vertically position.
• In the event of a fault, do not attempt to use your mower. Contact
your approved dealer.

• The mower is fitted with 4 safety switches which are activated by :
1. the pedals control rod
2. front / rear side of grassbox
3. the parking brake
4. the seat
• The engine will start only if :
- the driver is seated or the parking brake is engaged
- the control pedals are in the neutral position
- the cutter is not switched on
- the power take-off is switched off (optional)
• The engine stops if :
- the operator gets out of the seat without engaging the parking
brake
- the operator gets out of the seat with the cutting system or the
power take-off engaged
- the operator activates a forward drive control pedal with the
parking brake engaged.
• Cutting stops if :
- the operator gets out of the seat
- when the grass container is being emptied.
• The cutter can only be activated if :
- the driver is seated.
- the grassbox is correctly closed
- the grassbox is in working position.
WARNING !
The grassbox opening provoke the stop of the cutting unit.
The cutter unit will automatically start when the grassbox
come back in working position.
WARNING !
Hold the grassbox closing action until the rear channel flap
is back in working position.
• The machine will only move if :
- the driver is on the seat
- the parking brake is disengaged.
• In the event of a fault, do not attempt to use your mower. Contact
your approved dealer.
6•3 FUEL
Regular diesel or Biodiesel B30 is used.
WARNING ! Use clean and fresh fuel. Handle the fuel
with care. When filling the tank, use a funnel and wipe any
fuel splashes immediately. Do not fill the tank with the
engine running or when the engine is hot. Never smoke.
Avoid any flames or sparks.
• When filling the tank, please avoid fuel spilling.
• If, in spite of these precautions, should some fuel spilled please:
a) Clean all the contaminated parts scrupulously.
b) Only restart the machine after you have checked that all spilt fuel
has been eliminated.
