8• ASSEMBLY - DISASSEMBLE - ACCESS TO COMPONENTS
8•1 ACCESS TO THE ENGINE
• To gain access to the engine, tip over the green and white bonnets.
- Unlock the bonnet with the lever item 26 page 11.
- Tilt the steering console fully to the front.
- Take the seat back as far as it will go.
- Use the handle on the top of the engine bonnet (green) to pull and
tilt the engine and central bonnets (green and white) to the front
(picture 11), the bonnets will be retained in the open position by
two gas jacks.
8•2 ACCESS TO THE PRINTED CIRCUIT
• The printed circuit is located under the central (white) bonnet,
tilting to the left-hand side (a picture 12).
8•3 ACCESS TO THE FUSE BOX
H124DN - H124DX
• The fuses box is located on the left-hand side of the machine
underneath the central bonnet (white), behind the printed circuit
(b picture 13).
• It is fitted with 5 fuses protected by a cover (picture 14).
Fuse 1 : Not used
Fuses 2 - 3 : 25 A. Pre-heating, starting
Fuse 4 : 15 A. Printed circuit
Fuse 5 : 20 A. Road kit
Fuse 6 : 15 A. Thermal circuit-breaker for electrical
socket protection (b picture 9)
H124DL
• The fuses box is located on the left-hand side of the machine
underneath the central bonnet (white), behind the printed circuit
(b picture 13).
• It is fitted with 6 fuses protected by a cover (picture 14).
Fuses 1 - 2 : 25 A. Pre-heating, starting
Fuses 3 : 20 A. Lighting
Fuse 4 : 20 A. Blinker
Fuse 5 : 15 A. Printed circuit protection
Fuse 6 : 15 A. Cab
Always replace a fuse with a new one of the same value.
8•4 ACCESS TO THE SUBSIDIARY FUNCTION
CONTROL VALVE (H124DN - H124DX)
• The hydraulic valve for the subsidiary functions (emptying and
raising the bin) is located under the central bonnet, on the left-hand
side under the printed circuit (b picture 12).
8•5 ACCESS TO THE FRONT HYDRAULIC
POWER TAKE-OFF CONTROL VALVE
(OPTIONNAL ON H124DL)
• The front power take-off control valve is located on the front of the
machine, under the steering cover (a picture 15) behind the hoses.
8•6 ACCESS TO THE HYDRAULIC
STEERING BOX (ORBITROL)
• The box is located in the steering console (b picture 15).
- Use a cross head screwdriver to remove the screw retaining the
front console cover (green).
- Unfasten the four front retaining screws of the dashboard.
- Remove the front console cover.
8•7 ACCESS TO THE OIL FILTER OF THE
HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT
H124DN - H124DX
• The hydraulic circuit filter is located under the (white) central bonnet,
on the right-hand side of the oil tank (b picture 16).
• The filter base is fitted with an electrical clogging sensor which
turns on the red monitor located on the dashboard (item 3 page 10).
• The clogging monitor can be lit when the ambiant temperature
is below 5°C and turn off once the oil reached the functionning
temperature (30°C) after a few minutes.
The monitor can also turn red when the oil reaches a
temperature beyond 90°C.
H124DL
• The hydraulic circuit filter is located under the (white) central bonnet,
on the right-hand side of the oil tank (b picture 16).
• The filter base is fitted with an electrical clogging sensor which
turns red (picture 17).
• The clogging indicator can be red when the ambient temperature
is below 5°C. It goes back to green once the oil reached the
functioning temperature (30°C) after a few minutes.
A monitor can also turn red when the oil reaches a
temperature beyond 90°C (item 3 page 10).
IMPORTANT ! The filter cartridge must be replaced
immediately if the indicator stay on red.
8•8 ACCESS TO THE AIR FILTER OF THE
HYDRAULIC TANK
• The filter is screwed to the hydraulic tank located underneath the
central bonnet (a picture 16). Replace this filter all 250 hours.
8•9 ACCESS TO THE BYPASS
• The by-pass is located under the main bonnet, between the
hydraulic oil tank and the cooler, on the drive transmission pump.
It’s marked with red paint (picture 18).
8•10 ACCESS TO THE DIFFERENTIAL LOCK
(H124DN)
• Differential locking is performed by a hydraulic flow divider placed
on the left-hand side under the central bonnet behind the printed
circuit (a picture 13).
8•11 CUTTING SYSTEM
8•11•1 REMOVING THE CUTTING SYSTEM
Apply the parking brake.
• Turn the machine on by turning the ignition key to position 1.
• Position the cutting deck to the minimum cutting height.
• Turn the machine off and remove the ignition key.
• Before beginning the removal operations, protect your hands with
gloves.
Remove the right and left-hand side covers by unscrewing the
fastening handles. Push the covers forward to take them off their
rear supports.
• Pull the blade transmission belt forward and with the other hand
make it slightly rolling off the angle drive gear entry pulley and
make this one turn slowly (picture 19).
