Using with the 5-pt Harness

3. Attach SureLatch Connectors.
With the SureLatch harness through the upper belt
path, as shown above, push each SureLatch connector
onto each seat anchor.
Note: You may need to vary the angle of the SureLatch
connectors, as shown above, to attach to the anchor.
IMPORTANT: Position the
SureLatch connectors so they
are facing upward, sitting
above the LATCH guide, as
shown, and the straps are
not twisted.

1.
Disconnect Tether
Hook from the back
of the child restraint.
2.
Place the child
restraint in position.
Set child restraint on
vehicle seat, as shown.
Lay the Tether Strap over
the back of the vehicle
seat.

IMPORTANT:
• Some vehicle manufacturers have lower maximum
weight ratings for LATCH anchors. Consult your vehicle
owner’s manual, or call the vehicle manufacturer, to
confirm the limits on your vehicle’s LATCH anchors.
• If you are using the vehicle seat belt to secure the child
restraint, DO NOT use the SureLatch Connectors.
• Install this child restraint with the vehicle seat belt
(NOT SureLatch connectors) if the child weighs more
than 22.6 kg (50 lbs).
