8. OLDER SYSTEMS
Older products that do NOT use the FU-0003 processor must have a Computer Interface fitted before
the RS232/422 port can be used. As this is an option, it must be ordered separately. RS232 or RS422
are link selectable on the CI-0001. There are two versions of this:

PC106 LK1-LK5 Away from U3 Toward U3 Up to Dec 1996
PC180 SELECT 232 position 422 position Dec 1996 onwards
The older products operate at 9600, 8 data bits, no parity, and 1 stop bit. Other baud rates and parity
options can be factory selected.
