Theleverisusedtocontrolenginespeed.Moving
thethrottletothefullforward(Choke)positionwill
placetheleverinthechokeposition.Thechokeaids
instartingacoldengine.Movingthethrottlecontrol
forwardwillincreaseenginespeedandmovingitto
therearwilldecreaseenginespeed.
Thethrottle-chokecontrolalsoincludesanengine
killposition.Movingtheleverintothefullrearward
(Off)positionwillkilltheengine.
RecoilStarter
Locatedontheengine.
Pulltherecoilstarterhandletostarttheengine.
FuelShut-OffValve
Locatedbelowthefueltank.
Thefuelshut-offvalveshutsofftheowoffuel
whenthemachinewillnotbeusedforafewdays,
whenparkinginsideabuilding,andduringtransport
toandfromthejob.
Alignvalvewiththefuellinetoopen.Rotate90°to
close.
Self-PropelDriveBail
Theself-propeldrivebail,locatedunderthehandle,
controlstheforwardandreversemotionofthe
machine.
Whentheself-propeldrivebailissqueezedagainst
thehandle,theunitgroundspeedwillchangebased
onthedistancebetweenthebailandthehandle.
Whenthebailisreleased,theunitwillstopmoving.
Important:Thetinesarerotatingwhenthe
self-propeldrivebailismovedoutoftheneutral
position.
