3.1 Preparation before installation
1)Conrmtheareaofinstallationofsystem.
2) Check the packing list in the instruction manual and
conrmwhethertheactualaccessoriesarecomplete.
3) Prepare tools for installation.

NOTE! If your Cold Water Valve is too old or weak to connect to directly Option A you can
connect at the top of the line where the faucet connects Option B (if applicable, some sinks
do not have this connection point).
1.LocatetheColdWaterValveunderneaththesinkandturnitocompletely.Next,open
thecoldwaterhandleonyoursinktoreleaseanypressurebyexpellinganyexiingwater.
Checktomakesurethewaterhasoppedowingcompletelybeforeproceeding.
DO NOT CONNECT TO HOT WATER LINE!
NOTE! Onsingle-handlefaucetsthehotwatermayhavetobeturnedotopreventhot
watercrossover(onlyduringyourrinallation).
IfwaterillcontinuestocomeoutofthefaucetwiththeColdWaterValveturnedo,then
themainwatersupplymubeturnedoaswell.

Using the Feed Water Adapter Valve
DuringinallationleaveyourFeedWaterAdapterValveinthe“CLOSED”
positionuntilSyemStartup.TheFeedWaterAdapterValvecontrolsall
watercomingintoyourROSyem.Ifforanyreasonyouneedtoop
incomingwaterturntheFeedWaterAdapterValvetothe“CLOSED”
position.Alwaysturnthisvalveobeforereplacinglters,ifaleakis
discovered,orwhenshuttingdownthesyem.

Next,useanadjuablewrenchtosecuretheAdapterValveeither
directly to the Cold Water Valve Option A or further up in the line
before the faucet Option B (if applicable). Make sure your Adapter
Valveisintheclosedpositionwheninallingit.
NOTE! Do Not Use Teon Tape! Use your wrench to tighten
the connection, be careful not to over tighten.

2. As shown below, the Feed Water Adapter Valve can be used for
⅜”or½”feedlineplumbing.
Simply switch the Adapter Nut (see left image) from one side of the
Adapter Valve to the other.

CAUTION! CAUTION! The water supply to the unit MUST be from the COLD
WATER LINE. Using HOT WATER will severely damage your RO Syem.
