OPERATION PROCEDURE
35
The dotted line at the Probe HI output illustrates the connection for an
ENCLOSURE LEAKAGE TEST required by the agencies. The Probe HI
connection could also be used together with the Probe LO connection to perform
other leakage tests that are not illustrated here.
Check your connections to be sure
they are making good contact. Clear the test station/area of debris and ask any
unnecessary personnel to leave the area.
DO NOT TOUCH THE DEVICE UNDER TEST ONCE
THE TEST HAS BEEN STARTED.
9.2 Power Up
Turn on the Input Power Switch. All status LEDs will light up, then the display will
show the Trade Mark, Model Number and Version Number first, as follows:
ARI LINECHECK
510L VER: X.X
The program will then recall the Memory and Step which was last executed.
9.3 Set Mode Screen
The settings screen will show parameter settings of the test that will be performed
and the memory locations that they are stored in. This screen can be accessed after
a test is aborted or after a pass condition by pressing the RESET button or after a
test failure by pressing the RESET button twice. The test result will overwrite the
Delay timer after a test is completed or when a failure occurs. The left side of the
second line always indicates the Memory and Step that has been selected and an
underbar character to the right of the step number indicates that the step has been
connected to the next step in sequence. The display will show the underbar
indicating step 1 is connected to step 2 as follows:
1 . 0 s D 110.2V
M1-1
_
G-L
2500

9.4 Reviewing Test Results
The test results from the first 16 tests that are executed can be reviewed by pressing
the Enter/Review key. Successive key presses will continue advancing to the next
result. The results of the last step in the process will be followed by the first step
when scrolling through the results.
