CHAPTER 14 : CALIBRATION PROCEDURES
14.1 Calibration
Press the calibration button on the rear panel when the display shows:
Calibrate 7611
Press CAL button
A complete calibration includes:
1. Meter auto null
2. Meter gain calibration
3. Meter ratio auto check
4. DUT voltmeter calibration
5. Measuring Device calibration
Procedure 1 and 3 are internal and automatic. Procedure 2, 4, and 5 require the
following equipment:
1. AC 120V source with Standard AC Voltage meter
2. Standard Current Meter, 10mA range
3. 1K
Ω
1/4W Resistor
4. DC source with 2.2V and 3.1V capability
14.2 Enter The Maintenance Mode
Press and hold the calibration key on the rear panel with a pen, pencil or small
screw driver while powering ON the 510L. The 510L enters maintenance mode
after the power on sequence is complete. The initial screen will show:
Maintenance mode
SETUP for menu
Use the SETUP key to scroll through the menu. The selections are Calibration,
EEPROM Initialization, and Restore Default MD:F.
14.2.1
Calibration Initialization
Press the SETUP key, the program will advance to the Calibration
selection mode. The display will show:
Calibrate 7611
Press CAL button
