S am p le P re p arati on :
1. F or C onduct i v i ty, T DS or S al i n i ty place the test sample i n a sample
cup w i th enough depth (2.5cm m i n i mum) to cover the electrode. S t i r
the solut i on to remove any a i r bubbles.
2. F or pH, place the t i p of the electrode i n the sample or make contact
w i th a wet surface.
Meas u reme n t :
1. P ress the O N button. ( and then “ SE L F CA L” w i ll appear i n the
d i splay dur i ng the turn-on d i agnost i cs)
2. D epress and hold the MO D E / H O L D key to scroll to the des i red
measurement mode.
3. Insert the electrode i nto the sample mak i ng sure that the electrodes are
completely submersed.
4. S lowly st i r the solut i on w i th the electrode to remove a i r bubbles i f i n the
C onduct i v i ty, T DS or S al i n i ty mode.
5. If i n the C onduct i v i ty, T DS or S al i n i ty modes, the meter w i ll auto-range
to the proper range and then d i splay the read i ng.
