Operating Temperatures
The 7720 Series supports the following operating temperatures with front-to-back
cooling:
• 0°C (32°F) to 50°C (122°F) at sea level
• 0°C (32°F) to 45°C (113°F) up to 1800 m (6000 ft)
• 0°C (32°F) to 40°C (104°F) above 1800 m (6000 ft), up to 3000m (10,000 ft)
The 7720 Series supports the following operating temperatures with back-to-front
cooling:
• 0°C (32°F) to 45°C (113°F) at sea level
• 0°C (32°F) to 40°C (104°F) up to 1800 m (6000 ft)
• 0°C (32°F) to 35°C (95°F) above 1800 m (6000 ft), up to 3000m (10,000 ft)
Feature Licensing
The 7720 Series switches support Unied Licensing, so that you can use them with
multiple operating systems. There are two methods of acquiring feature licenses:
manual or through ExtremeCloud™ IQ (XIQ).

Extreme 7720 Series Switch Features
The Extreme 7720 Series switch includes the following models:
7720-32C
The 7720-32C base switch includes six empty fan module slots and two empty
power supply module slots. Fan modules and power supply modules must be
ordered separately.
7720-32C-AC-F
The 7720-32C-AC-F switch includes two AC power supply modules and six fan
modules. Airow for both the fan modules and the powers supply modules is front-
to-back.
7720-32C-AC-R
The 7720-32C-AC-R switch includes two AC power supply modules and six fan
modules. Airow for both the fan modules and the powers supply modules is back-
to-front.
