Using the Camera in PIR Detection Mode
• Mounting the camera to pillar or tree by the provided
mounting strap.
• Open the cover and slide the switch from OFF position to
A or B or CAM position. At this point, the status display
will count down 60 seconds for you to close the cover and
lock it then leave the trigger area.
• If you chose CAM position then make sure your camera is
in the PIR mode and not TLS (Time Lapse). If you are not
sure, please follow the “Camera setup and program”
above to set the camera into the proper mode.
To Capture Images, make sure display reads CAM:
Once the switch at CAM position, if the display does not read
CAM then,
• Slide the switch to the TEST position, the status display
will show the camera current status.
• Press [M] button once to call out the program menu.
• The word PIR will be blinking, press [M] to confirm the
camera’s operation is PIR detection.
• Press [UP] or [DN] button until the word CAM is blinking.
• Press [M] button ONCE to confirm and then press and
hold [M] Button 2 seconds to exit.
• Then slide the switch from TEST position to CAM.
