OPERATION
Afterapowerfailurethelockisactivatedautomatically.
Lockingthehob
To lock the hob touch the key sensor until the lock sensor starts ashing . At the beginning
of touching a short sound is emitted.
Unlockingthehob
To unlock the hob touch the key sensor until the lock sensor stops ashing. At the end of
touching a short sound is emitted.
Lockfunction
The lock function, activated by the key sensor prevents the activated hotplate from being
accidentally switched o by children, pets etc.
If you lock the hob when all the hotplates are switched o, the hob will be protected from un-
intentional activation and can be operated only when unlocked.
The residual heat indicator
Once a hot cooking zone is switched o, "H" is displayed on the relevant cooking zone display
to warn that the "cooking zone is still hot!"
Do
not touch the cooking zone
at this time owing tothe riskof
burns from residual heat, and do
not place on it any objects sensi-
tive to heat!
When the residual heat indicator goes out,
cooking zone can be touched, however keep
in mind that it may still be warmer than ambi-
ent temperature.
The "H" residual heat indicator
is not displayed during a power
outage.However,cookingzones
may still be hot!
