Kickback
Kickback is the upward and backward movement
of the cutting discs when the cutting discs
unexpectedly touch an object. Securely hold the
machine with both hands during use. Keep your
attention focused on the operation.
Kickback is usually caused by:
- unintentionally touching hard objects or
materials with the rotating cutting discs;
- blunt cutting discs;
- cutting discs that are not properly mounted;
- cutting into a previous cut;
- a lack of attention to the operation;
- an instable stance.
