m NOTE
Make sure that there is always enough oil in the tank because chain lubrication is always
on.
Automatic chain lubrication - Settings possible!
Checking and adjusting chain lubrication (Fig. 11)
m CAUTION!: Never work without chain lubrication! If the saw chain runs dry, the cutting
gear will be irreparably destroyed in a short time.
• Always check chain lubrication before working.
• Only use saw chain oil, preferably biodegradable. Do not use waste oil, engine oil, etc.
• Check during work that the chain lubrication is working.
• Hold the chainsaw during operation, at medium speed, over a sawed-off tree stump or
a suitable surface. If the lubrication is adequate, a light film of oil will form on the tree
stump or the ground sheet.
• If necessary, the chain lubrication can be increased or decreased by means of the oil ad-
justment screw (A).
• To do this, use the supplied allen key (23):
- First press and then turn the oil adjustment screw (A) clockwise to reduce chain lubrica-
tion.
- First press and then turn the oil adjustment screw (A) anticlockwise to increase chain lu-
brication.
