  If your FERREX Chainsaw won't start or starts but won't run, several factors could be at play. First, ensure you are following the correct starting procedures as outlined in the User Manual. Other potential causes include a fouled spark plug (clean, gap, or replace it), a plugged fuel filter (replace it), or an incorrect carburetor mixture adjustment setting (have it adjusted by an Authorized Service Center).

What to do if my FERREX CSP5300 chain isn't getting enough oil?

  If you notice insufficient chain lubrication causing the cutter rail and chain to get hot on your FERREX Chainsaw, check if the oil tank for the chain is empty and top it up. Also, inspect the oil lubrication openings for any obstructions; clean the oil lubrication hole and the groove in the cutter bar.
