What to do if the Festo DHTG-90-4-A rotating plate does not move?

  If the rotating plate on your Festo Industrial Equipment doesn't move, it could be due to several reasons. First, check if the overload protection is active. You can resolve this by pressurizing connection (B) and turning the plate back against the direction of rotation as far as possible to engage the overload protection. Another cause may be that the flow-control screw is closed completely; if so, open the screw. If you hear an audible leakage, send the DHTG to Festo.

  If the rotating plate on your Festo Industrial Equipment does not engage, it might be due to a few reasons. Check if the end position has been reached; if not, unscrew the adjusting screw for the shock absorber until the rotating plate engages. Also, verify if the overload protection is active. If the toothed disc and pinion stand tooth on tooth, please contact Festo’s Technical Hotline.

  A hard metal impact at the end position in your Festo Industrial Equipment may occur if the adjusting screw for the shock absorber is unscrewed too far. Try screwing in the adjusting screw. Alternatively, the shock absorber might be defective and need replacement.
