1.Einstellmodus starten + Farbe lernen
Zu detektierendes Objekt innerhalb der Tastweite positionieren (auf 10-30° Verkippung
achten).
SET-TASTE 3 Sekunden drücken >> grüne LED erlischt und Ch1 leuchtet gelb
(Verriegelungseingang offen oder 0 Volt).
2.Kanal 1 bestätigen
SET-TASTE wieder 3 Sekunden drücken >> grüne LED und mittlere rote LED leuchten.
3.Einstellmodus beenden + Toleranz 3 bestätigen
SET-TASTE noch einmal 3 Sekunden drücken, um Toleranzwahl zu bestätigen.
>> Der Sensor ist betriebsbereit (grüne LED + gelbe LED für Ch1 leuchten).
1.Start setting mode + teach-in colour
Position target object within the scanning distance (keep to an inclination of 10-30°).
Push SET-KEY for 3 seconds >> green LED goes off and Ch1 lights up yellow
(Interlocking input open or 0 Volt).
2.Conrm channel 1
Push SET-key for another 3 seconds >> green LED and middle red LED light up.
3.Complete setting mode + conrm tolerance 3
Push SET-key for another 3 seconds to conrm choice of tolerance.
>> The sensor is ready for operation (green LED + yellow LED for Ch1 light up).
1.Démarrer le mode réglage + apprendre une couleur
Positionner l’objet à détecter dans le champ de détection (veiller à une inclinaison
de 10-30°).
Appuyer sur la touche SET pendant 3 secondes >> LED verte s’éteint et Ch1(jaune) s’al-
lume (Entrée de verrouillage ouverte ou 0 Volt)
2.Conrmer le canal 1
Appuyer encore une fois sur la touche SET pendant 3 secondes >> LED verte et LED rouge
du milieu sont allumées.
3.Terminer le mode réglage + conrmer la tolérance 3
Appuyer sur la touche SET pendant 3 sec. pour conrmer le choix de tolérance.
>> Le capteur est prêt à fonctionner(LED verte + LED jaune pour Ch1 sont allumées).

2.Kanal wählen
Mit TOGGLE-TASTE einen der Farbkanäle Ch1, Ch2 oder Ch3 auswählen.
Gewählter Kanal wird durch entsprechende gelbe LED angezeigt.
Die Stellung Ch1+Ch2+Ch3 nicht auswählen (d.h. es dürfen nicht alle drei gelben LEDs
gleichzeitig leuchten).
2.Select channel
Select one of the colour channels Ch1, Ch2 or Ch3 with the TOGGLE-KEY. The selected
channel is indicated by a corresponding yellow LED.
Do not select the position Ch1+Ch2+Ch3 (that means: it´s not allowed that all three
yellow LEDs light up together).
2.Sélectionner un canal
Sélectionner un des canaux de couleurs Ch1, Ch2 or Ch3 avec la touche TOGGLE.
Le canal sélectionné est indiqué par LED jaune. Ne pas sélectionner le réglage
Ch1+Ch2+Ch3 (les 3 LEDs jaunes ne doivent pas être allumées simultanément).

3.Kanal bestätigen
Mit SET-TASTE (3 Sekunden drücken) ausgewählten Farbkanal bestätigen
>> grüne LED und mittlere rote LED leuchten (Toleranzstufe 3).
Bei großen Farbunterschieden ist eine hohe Toleranzstufe sinnvoll, bei kleinen Unter-
schieden eine kleine Toleranzstufe. Normalbetrieb mit Toleranz 3.
3.Conrm channel
Conrm selected channel with SET-KEY (push for 3 seconds)
>> green LED and middle red LED light up (tolerance level 3).For big colour differences,
a high tolerance level is reasonable, for small differences a low tolerance level.
Normal operation with tolerance 3.
3.Conrmer le canal
Conrmer le canal de couleurs sélectionné avec la touche SET (appuyer pendant 3 se-
condes) >> LED verte et LED rouge du milieu sont allumées (niveau de tolérance 3). Pour
de grandes différences de couleurs, un haut niveau de tolérance conviendra. Pour de
petites différences, utiliser un niveau bas. Le fonctionnement standard est au niveau 3.

4.Toleranzstufe auswählen
Mit TOGGLE-TASTE eine der 5 Toleranzstufen wählen.
Orientierungshilfe ist die grüne LED. Leuchtet die
grüne LED nicht, so ist die Toleranzstufe zu klein,
sie muss so lange erhöht werden bis die grüne LED
leuchtet.

Mit der Einstellung Tol1+Tol2+Tol3 wird der gewählte Farbkanal abgeschaltet.
4.Select tolerance level
Select one of the 5 tolerance levels by means of the TOGGLE-KEY.
The green LED serves as a guideline. If it doesn’t
light up, the tolerance level is too low and has to be
increased until the green LED lights up.

With the setting Tol1+Tol2+Tol3 the selected colour channel is switched off.
4.Sélectionner le niveau de tolérance
Sélectionner un des 5 niveaux de tolérance à l’aide de la touche TOGGLE.
La diode LED verte sert de point de repère. Si elle n’est
pas allumée, le niveau de tolérance est trop bas et
doit être augmenté jusqu’à ce qu’elle s’allume.

>> Der Sensor ist betriebsbereit (grüne LED leuchtet u. evtl. der eingelernte Kanal ChX).
Alle 3 Kanäle nacheinander auf diese Weise einstellen.
5.Complete setting mode
Push SET-KEY for 3 seconds to conrm tolerance selection.
>> The sensor is ready for operation (green LED and possibly the taught-in channel ChX
light up).Set all 3 channels one after the other in this way.
5.Terminer le mode réglage
Appuyer sur la touche SET pendant 3 secondes pour conrmer la sélection de toléran-
ce. >> Le capteur est prêt à fonctionner (LED verte est allumée et éventuellement aussi le
canal ChX appris).
Régler les 3 canaux l’un après l’autre de cette manière.
Hinweis zur Toleranzstufenfestlegung:
Nachdem ein Objekt z. B. mit Tol. 2 eingelernt wurde, dieses Objekt innerhalb der in der Anwendung
auftretenden Entfernungs- oder Positionsunterschiede manuell bewegen, und anhand des Aueuchtens
der gelben LED des zugehörigen Ausgangskanals die einwandfreie Funktion prüfen. Wird ein Objekt
nicht sicher erkannt, nächsthöhere Toleranzstufe wählen. Durch Wiederholen dieses Vorgangs kann so
die optimale Toleranzstufe ermittelt werden.
Remark regarding the denition of tolerance levels:
After an object has been taught-in, e.g. with tol. 2, move this object manually within the range of
distances or positions occurring in the application, and check the perfect function from of the light-
ing-up of the yellow LED of the assigned output channel.
If an object is not detected reliably, select the tolerance level one higher. By repeating this proce-
dure, the optimum tolerance level can be determined.
Remarque conc. la détermination du niveau de tolérance:
Après avoir analysé un objet avec p.ex. Tol. 2, déplacer cet objet manuellement dans la plage des diffé-
rentes distances et positions nécessaires de l’application. Vériez ensuite le bon fonctionnement de la
détection au moyen de la LED du canal de sortie attribué s’allumant jaune.Si un objet n’est pas détecté
de manière able, choisir le niveau de tolérance immédiatement supérieur. En répétant cette procédure,
on peut déterminer le meilleur niveau de tolérance.
