7.4.5 Sunroof with rotary hinges
Opening:  Turn the catch lever (Fig. 27,3) a quarter turn towards the centre of the
window.
 Open the sunroof until the required position has been reached and use
knurled knob (Fig. 28,1) to secure in position.
The sunroof remains locked in the required position.
Closing:
 Turn knurled knob (Fig. 28,1) until the latch is released.
 Close the sunroof.
 Turn the catch lever (Fig. 27,3) a quarter turn towards the window frame.
The locking catch (Fig. 27,2) is located on the inside of the window catch
(Fig. 27,1).
Continuous ventilation With the catch lever, the sunroof can be placed in 2 positions:
z "Continuous ventilation" (Fig. 29)
z "Firmly closed" (Fig. 27)
Z When opening the sunroof, ensure that there are no torsional forces. Open
and close the sunroof evenly.
