MACHINE INSTALLATION
- Remove the protecve lm, tape (the
control panel protecon, etc.) and any
other packing material.
- Choose a safe and stable surface with
an easily-accessible power supply and at
least 15 cm (6 in) of open space around the
machine.
- Insert the external drip tray; it has magnets
to facilitate installaon. Ensure that it is
correctly posioned.
- Fill the water tank.
- Fill the coee bean container.
- Unwind and extend the power cord and
plug it into the socket at the back of the
machine. Insert the plug at the other end
of the power cord into a wall outlet with
suitable voltage.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Operaon
- Turn on the appliance by pressing the ON/
OFF buon.
The machine cleans the water circuit when
it is turned on for the rst me and aer
having been turned o for a while.
Place an empty container underneath the
adjustable coee spout before turning the
machine on or o.
Warning: If water circulaon is dicult for
any reason, press and hold the hot water
buon unl a connuous ow of water
comes out of the coee outlet .
Opon to deacvate automac
cleaning:
You may choose to do manual cleaning
(see MANUAL CLEANING). If you nd
the automac cleaning opon to be
bothersome, you may deacvate this
funcon as follows:
- Open and remove the service door.
- Press and hold the ON/OFF buon for a
few seconds unl you hear 2 beeps. This
indicates that the automac cleaning
funcon has been deacvated.
To reacvate it, repeat the procedure unl
you hear 2 beeps.
The appliance will enter STANDBY mode.
- Place a mug under the coee spout and
adjust the height of the spout so that the
mug ts. Depending on the size of the mug
(too high or too wide), you may remove the
external drip tray.
- Press the desired coee buon. The
pressed coee buon will light up and
remain lit to indicate that the machine is
preparing the cup of coee.
While the coee is being prepared, the mug
illuminaon light turns on.
- When the appliance returns to STANDBY
mode, the coee is ready to be served.
NOTE - The coee buons can be adjusted
(see the “OTHER SETTINGS” secon -
adjusng the volume of coee/hot water).
Press the hot water buon (see the “Hot
water” secon below) to clean the interior
of the coee machine before rst use.
