MANUAL CLEANING
You may also complete a manual cleaning
cycle to clean the coee spout aer use.
We suggest performing a manual cleaning
if the machine has not been used for a long
period of me. How to do it:
- In STANDBY mode, simultaneously press
and hold the ON/OFF buon and the hot
water buon; an alert will sound.
The hot waer buon will ash unl the
rinse process is complete.
Danger: the water leaving the hot water
spout is hot and is collected in the external
drip tray below. Avoid contact with stray
water droplets.
Aer this manual cleaning, the appliance
returns to STANDBY mode.
AUTOMATIC SHUT OFF
The machine comes equipped with an
automac shut-o funcon. Depending
on the mode selected, the machine
takes dierent lengths of me to shut o
automacally. (See the “OTHER SETTINGS –
Mode selecon” secon).
DAILY CLEANING
The mely cleaning and maintenance of the
machine are very important to extending its
working life.
Do not begin any cleaning or maintenance
procedure with the machine switched on.
- If the machine is turned on, turn it o
by pressing the ON/OFF buon for a few
seconds.
- Remove the external drip tray.
- Empty the water in the tray into the
sink and wash it with cold water. Dry it
immediately.
- Remove the internal drip tray and the
coee grounds container.
- Empty the coee grounds container.
Wash the internal drip tray and the coee
grounds container with cold water. Dry
them immediately.
- Place the coee grounds container in the
internal drip tray, immediately returning
them to their original posion.
Cleaning the brewing group
- Push the service door from the boom.
- Remove the service door.
- Press the (orange) buons to eject the
brewing group.
- Remove the brewing group.
- Wash the brewing group in running water.
Immediately dry it very well.
- Clean the brewing group compartment.
- Return the brewing group to its original
posion, followed by the service door.
Notes:
When the brewing group symbol light is:
- Steady, the brewing group is missing or
incorrectly posioned.
- Flashing, the service door is missing or
incorrectly posioned.
When the coee grounds container symbol
is ashing, the coee grounds container is
missing.
- Place the coee grounds container in the
internal drip tray, immediately returning
them to their original posion.
