- If the machine is not in STANDBY mode,
turn it on using the ON/OFF buon.
- Place a suciently large recipient under
the coee spout.
- Simultaneously press and hold the ON/
OFF buon and the espresso coee buon
for 5 seconds. You will hear a beep; the
espresso coee buon and the descaling
indicator symbol will ash.
- Press the espresso coee buon to
conrm the start of the cleaning process.
- The descaling indicator symbol will
connue ashing, indicang that the
appliance is performing the automac
cleaning process.
Aenon: keep your body/skin away from
the hot water.
- When all the water in the tank has been
used, the low water level indicator symbol
and the espresso coee buon will ash.
- Carefully discard any remaining soluon
from the water tank, wash it and ll it with
clean water unl the MAX ll line. Aer
the water tank is lled and returned to
place, the low water level indicator symbol
will turn o. The low water level indicator
symbol and the espresso coee buon will
stop ashing.
The machine will connue with the
descaling process; it will rst use half of
the water in the tank, then, aer a pause of
around 1 minute, the process will connue
unl the rest of the water from the tank has
been used.
- When the automac cleaning process has
nished, the appliance will automacally
shut o.
Note: to make sure that the descaling
process is complete, be paent during the
process and check that the appliance turns
o automacally.
Cleaning the ground coee outlet
Aer prolonged periods of use, some
ground coee may accumulate in the
passage from the grinding compartment
to the brewing group. We suggest cleaning
the outlet of this passage to ensure that the
ground coee reaches the machine.
- Push the service door from the boom.
- Remove the service door.
- Press the (orange) buons to eject the
brewing group.
- Remove the brewing group.
- Use the cleaning brush to clean the grinder
compartment outlet.
Cleaning the appliance
Unplug the appliance from the wall outlet.
Empty the internal drip tray and the coee
grounds container.
Use a damp cloth or non-abrasive cleaning
agent to clean the water stains from the
appliance.
IMPORTANT: Never use abrasive cleaning
agents, vinegar or descaling soluons not
included in the appliance’s cleaning kit.
VACUUM SYSTEM FUNCTION
We recommend using the vacuum system
funcon before long periods of not using
the appliance to protect against low
temperatures, as well as before contacng
technical assistance services.
- In STANDBY mode, simultaneously press
the ON/OFF buon and the espresso buon
for 5 seconds; there will be an alert sound
