* What is pre-brewing?
When the pump begins working, there is a short pause. During that pause, the ground
coee in the brewing group is moistened with a small amount of water before complete
extracon. This process expands the ground coee inside the brewing group, which
increases water retenon and pressure to help extract all of the oils and avor from the
ground beans.

To select a mode:
- With the machine in STANDBY mode, press
the ON/OFF buon for 5 seconds unl the
buon begins ashing.
- Release the ON/OFF buon.
- The ON/OFF buon will remain ashing
and the espresso, long and hot water
buons will give a series of indicaons,
according to the table above.
- To change the mode, press the hot water
buon for ECO mode, the espresso buon
for quick mode and the long buon for
the default sengs. You will hear 2 beeps,
indicang that the mode has been selected.
- If you wish to keep the current sengs
and not make changes, press the ON/OFF
buon again or wait 5 seconds unl the
machine returns to STANDBY mode.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Automac cleaning/descaling
When the descaling indicator symbol is lit,
this means that automac cleaning should
be performed. The machine will remain in
top condion if this funcon is performed at
least once per month, or more frequently,
depending on the hardness of the water
used.
IMPORTANT: The complete descaling
process will take approximately 30
minutes. For your safety, do not turn o
the machine during the process. If the
descaling process is interrupted, it should
be restarted from the beginning.
- Completely ll the water tank.
- Add the contents of the descaling packet
included in the box to the water tank.
