11.18 Changing camera lenses
Applicability: Camera models with an exchangeable lens.
Note If the new lens has not been used with the camera before, the lens–camera combi-
nation must be calibrated after the lens has been mounted. See section 11.19 Calibrating
the lens–camera combination, page 50 for information on how to do this.
Note Do not touch the lens surface when you change lenses. If this happens, clean the
lens according to the instructions in 26.2 Infrared lens, page 111.
Follow this procedure:
1. Take a firm grip around the inner ring of the lens. Rotate the inner ring 30° counter-
clockwise until it stops.
2. Carefully pull out the lens.
