1  INTRODUCTION 
This manual describes the R1, R2, R3, R3D, R5 and R5D Perimeter Surveillance Radars (PSR) installation 
and scheduled maintenance actions. Complete electrical, mechanical and physical interfaces of the 
system are also provided. The Installation manual is intended for an audience of technically qualified 
personnel.

1.1  EQUIPMENT FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS 
1.1.1  R1, R2, R3, R3D, R5 and R5D Radar Assembly 
The R1, R2, R3, R3D, R5 and R5D provide detection capability for moving objects on the ground over an 
area of up to 360° and presents detection data to the operator through a Graphical User Interface 
(GUI). The data may also be transmitted via a third-party software application using an Extensible 
Markup Language (XML) Client responsible for implementing security policies.
